Trust

Confidence; a reliance or resting of the mind on the integrity, veracity, justice, friendship or other sound principle of another person.

Psalms 31:19
  1. Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

That which is committed to one's care.
Never violate a sacred trust.

Genesis 2:15
  1. And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Something committed to a person's care for use or management, and for which an account must be rendered.
Every man's talents and advantages are a trust committed to him by God, and for the use or employment of which he is accountable.

Ephesians 2:10
  1. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Romans 14:11-12
  1. For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
