  6. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
  7. And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
  8. And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
  9. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
  10. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
  11. And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men [it is] impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

If…

Romans 11:20-22

  2. For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
  3. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

1 Corinthians 15:1-2

You choose death

  2. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
  3. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
  4. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
  5. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Timothy 1:19
  1. Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

1 Timothy 5:11-13

  4. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Hebrews 12:25-26
  1. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
  2. Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Warning

Justice

Ezekiel 18:20-32
  1. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
  2. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
  3. All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
  4. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
  5. But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
  6. Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
  7. When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
  8. Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
  9. Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
  10. Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
  11. Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
  12. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
  13. For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

No return

Hebrews 6:4-6
  1. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
  2. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
  3. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Hebrews 10:26-27
  1. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
  2. But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

2 Peter 2:20-21
  1. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
  2. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Do

Hebrews 10:35-36
  1. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
  2. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

2 Peter 1:5-11
  1. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
  2. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
  3. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
  4. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  5. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
  6. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
  7. For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
